Studies show that US coverage is Israeli-centric. The main bureaus for CNN, Associated Press, Time, etc. are located in Israel and often staffed by Israelis. The son of the NY Times bureau chief is in the Israeli army;"pundit" Jeffrey Goldberg served in the IDF; Wolf Blitzer worked for AIPAC. Because the U.S. gives Israel over $8 million/day - more than to any other nation - we feel it is essential that we be fully informed on this region. Below are news reports to augment mainstream coverage.

Settlers escalate attacks against Palestinians

RAMALLAH, (WAFA) – Tens of settlers from ‘ Beit El’ settlement rallied Tuesday on the outskirts of al-Bireh (Ramallah) northern entrance, in the West Bank, raising Israeli flags and threw stones on Palestinian houses and cars, close to the settlement, according to witnesses.

Witnesses said that the settlers threw stones on Palestinian houses, close to the settlement, as well as cars passing by on Nablus old road, which is close to the settlement.

They added that the settlers retreated into the settlement, after being denied reaching the city by Israeli soldiers who intensified their presence at the settlement’s entrance.
